A, Gallier was initially a selling agent for Pathe, before beginning to make their own phonographs. They made a number of different models, including a cylinder / disc combination.
This is an extremely rare manufacturer and examples are minimal
There are a number of unique features on Gallier machines. The on-off mechanism was at the front. The horn-reproducer attachment fitted over the tube where one normally sees the horn-reproducer attached to the machine. The girn was attached to a wooden extention arm that connected between the adaptor & the horn.
